This award, in honor of Challenger teacher - astronaut Christa McAuliffe, is given by Kentucky PTA to students who have worked to improve challenges at school or home and have improved grades, attendance, attitude, character and/or self-esteem. Your PTA/PTSA can honor a student who has accomplished these achievements by nominating him or her for this award.
